
Dr. Katherine O. McCabe is a comprehensive ophthalmologist and cataract surgeon at See Clearly Vision in McLean and Arlington, Virginia. She is native to the DC metropolitan area, born and raised in Fairfax County. Dr. McCabe graduated with distinction from the University of Virginia. She then earned her medical degree at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, where she was honored by the American Medical Women’s Association for graduating first in her class. She completed her ophthalmology residency at New York Eye & Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai, one of the leading eye hospitals in the country. During her training, she spearheaded research which was presented at the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology’s Annual Meeting.
Dr. McCabe is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society, Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
